Ministry Information
The ministry that the Lord has entrusted us with is that of Regional Member Care, which is an internal pastoral type ministry within New Tribes Mission. Member Care is a shepherding/serving, personal contact ministry with our furloughing missionaries, those en route to the field for the first time, and our MKs (missionary kids) who are on their own now here in the U.S.
A. Our primary role on the Member Care team is to be servants and encouragers for our missionaries. (Galatians 6:2; 1Thessalonians 5:11)
B. That an attitude of kindness, concern, caring, listening, and loving, will best reflect the Lord Jesus to our missionaries & their children, and that this is the best context from which to serve them. (Romans chapter 16; 1 Thessalonians 2:7-12)
Field
We are responsible for our missionaries living in six states here in the Southeastern U.S. - (Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, & Tennessee). At present we are living in Acworth, Georgia (northwest Atlanta).
