Mayfair Missionaries

Missions and Missionaries Supported by Mayfair Bible Church

One of the principle ministries of Mayfair Bible Church is sending and supporting missionaries of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Mayfair has been blessed with a long heritage of missionary support to both local and foreign fields. There are missionary families that Mayfair has supported for three generations and there are brand new missionary candidates visiting almost every month.

The primary focus of the mission program at Mayfair Bible Church is to take the Gospel to people and places that have never heard. Missionaries whose principle ministry is "church planting" are the most numerous of our 65 missionaries and mission agencies. Mayfair is also involved with missionaries focused on children's and youth ministries, camping ministries, Bible translation, radio, homeless, prison and helping ministries. Several of our missionaries are now semi-retired, but are still actively serving Our Lord in a new setting.

Mayfair frequently hosts visiting missionaries and missionary candidates. There is a five day Mission Conference held at Mayfair every eighteen months that typically includes 4 or more missionary guests that give ministry reports and challenges from God's Word.

Mayfair has an active short term missions programs and typically sends five, or more students or adults on mission trips every year. A few years ago, we were blessed with the opportunity to help build a new church by sending financial support and several work crews from Mayfair to help get the work done!

Missionaries at Mayfair are highlighted through our Sunday School program with Missionary of the Month presentations and offerings. Interesting information about our missionaries is distributed to adult and children's Sunday School classes alike.

Every fall, Mayfair Bible Church collects a Missionary Christmas offering to provide an extra monetary gift in celebration of the birth of our Savior. Mayfair has also been a major local supporter of Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child providing over a hundred Shoe Box Gifts for underprivileged children around the world.
