Adult Praise Choir
The Adult Praise Choir sings in most morning worship services, as well as several musicals each year. Child care is provided for each rehearsal. Rehearsal times are Wednesdays with regular service material from 7:00 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. and special musical rehearsals from 7:45 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. (plus other dates as announced). All adult vocalists are welcome!
Membership
- Open to all adults attending Mayfair who wish to use their vocal gifts to serve the Lord. (High school students are welcome, but must first contact the director.)
- Each member is to have a conference with the director for voice placement in the choir. The director will set up an appointment.
- New members are requested to attend 2 rehearsals before singing for worship services (or at the director's discretion).
Church membership is not required, but warmly encouraged.
Attendance Rehearsals
- Regular rehearsals are Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
- Regular weekly attendance is expected.
- Attendance at the Wednesday prior to a given Sunday is expected in order to participate in the worship service (or director's discretion).
Performance
- Each member is expected to be in place each Sunday.
- Must be in rehearsal room prior to service for warm-ups and information. (8:55 a.m.)

Personal Expectations
- Music is to be kept in choir folder, which is provided.
- Prayer support is encouraged for all ministries of the church.
- Commitment to the ministry of Adult Choir is vital! Our effectiveness is measured by your personal commitment.
- Vocal warm-ups should be done prior to rehearsals and performances to make the greatest use of time.
