Church Work Day – Saturday, May 18 at 9 AM
It’s time for our Spring Church Work Day! Many hands make light work, so please join us on Saturday, May 19 starting at 9 AM to do some maintenance and clean up around the church building and property.
We have tasks for many skill levels and ages. We usually try to wrap up around Noon, but it often depends on how many volunteers come. Sign-up sheets with task descriptions are in the foyer, or you can click the link below to see descriptions and sign up. Questions? Contact the office.
Worship with the McNeills – Sunday, June 2 at 11 AM
The McNeills are coming back to Mayfair on Sunday, June 2 and bringing us Americana-style worship music! We loved worshiping with them last year, and we can’t wait to lift up our voices with them again during this special worship service. Everyone – kids included – will gather in the sanctuary at 11 AM to worship together.
Picnic Under the Pavilion – Sunday, June 2 after Church
Following the worship service with the McNeills, we’ll meet outside under the pavilion for a church-wide picnic and outdoor fun! We’ll provide the burgers and hot dogs. You bring the side dishes. Click the button below to sign up.
Grad Sunday – Sunday, June 9 at 11 AM
Calling all graduating high school and college students! We want to celebrate with you during the worship service on Sunday, June 9. Contact the office to let us know if you’re planning to join us for Grad Sunday.
Church at the Park – Sunday, June 23 at 11 AM
We’re hosting Church at the Park in downtown Flushing on Sunday, June 23! Meet us for an open-air worship service at 11 AM and stay for Flushing Summerfest and lunch.
Blood Drives
Mayfair hosts blood drives with Versiti Blood Centers every other month. To donate, schedule an appointment using the button below or walk-in.
VBS 2024: The Great Jungle Journey!
Monday, July 15 – Friday, July 19 (5:30-8:15 PM)
Every day, our kids are bombarded with questions: Did God really create everything? Why do bad things happen? Was Noah’s ark real? Why do I need to be saved? Can I trust the Bible? At this VBS, your kids will explore the biblical answers to these questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids will discover how these events shape our world, and they will learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday life. Prepare to swing into fun as we head out on The Great Jungle Journey!

Vacation Bible School is our biggest outreach event of the year, an opportunity to share the Gospel with the lost in our own community. We need your help to create a fun and exciting event that will minister to both the children and their parents. Women’s Fall Retreat – September 27-29 at Camp Barakel
Registration for Camp Barakel’s women’s retreat opens in July. Mayfair is going September 27-29. Spots fill fast, so keep an eye out for when registration opens. The cost is $145 per person.
