Handymen and Handywomen of Mayfair Bible Church,
One important aspect of caring for our flock is meeting material and physical needs or our members that due to health, or lack of funds, might otherwise go unmet. Those needs could be as simple as clearing out a drain trap, cleaning up after storm damage, or as challenging as minor home accessibility modifications. Those needs often get met, but not in the most effective manner. Several years ago, Mayfair had a team of men and women that could be called on to address a variety of needs, called YAH (Young At Heart). Mayfair’s Pastors, Elders and Deacons are committed re-establishing that ministry in the form of “Mayfair Helping Hands,” to organize Mayfair volunteers to efficiently, effectively, and spiritually meet these needs.
James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the the world.

1 Peter 4:8-10
And above all, love one another deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

We need men and women with gifts/skills in all areas to help our members in need. Can you paint, repair a faucet, clear a gutter, help clean up storm debris, or do general cleaning? We need you and your gifts/skills on our list. Don’t have a specific skill? We still need your enthusiastic, and caring, helping hands to meet the needs of our Mayfair family.
