November Operation Christmas Child Collection
In November, we are collecting money and miscellaneous items that we’re low on. Money helps cover ministry costs, including postage and gospel materials. We are also low on items like coloring books, hair and fashion accessories (hair ties and clips, headbands, bracelets, necklaces), small and medium-sized stuffed animals, and small balls.
Items can be dropped off to the brown OCC box in the foyer, to the left of the Welcome Desk.

Don’t have items to donate but want to be part of Operation Christmas Child? Consider joining us by praying, making a monetary donation, or joining us in the fall for a shoebox packing party.
Blood Drives
Mayfair hosts blood drives with Versiti Blood Centers every other month. To donate, schedule an appointment using the button below or walk-in.
Women’s Cardio Drumming Class
Women can sign up for the cardio drumming class with Malori Pickell on Friday, November 14th. You must sign up in person and only for yourself. The sign-up sheet is at the Events Table in the foyer. Limited spots available.
OCC Shoebox Collection Times
Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child will be collected on the following days and times:
- Monday, November 17, 10am-Noon
- Tuesday, November 18, 6-8pm
- Wednesday, November 19, 10am-Noon
- Thursday, November 20, 10am-Noon
- Friday, November 21, 6-8pm
- Saturday, November 22, 10am-2pm
- Sunday, November 23, 12:30-4pm
- Monday, November 24, 9am-Noon
Boxes will not be accepted after the last collection time since they are loaded onto a truck and taken to the processing center in Illinois.

Church-Wide Shoebox Packing Party!
Join us on Wednesday, November 19 from 5-8pm for a church-wide shoebox packing party! We’ll pack shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child using the donations we’ve collected all year. Dinner will be provided. All ages are welcome to participate!

“Christmas Is” returns to Mayfair on November 22, 2025. Tickets can be purchased at Christmasis.us.
Missionary Connection: Robert Blazer
Robert Blazer, a member of our church and a missionary we support, is visiting Mayfair on Sunday, November 30th at 9:30am. He’ll share how his ministry in Colombia is going during what would normally be our Equip Course time.

Live Nativity Volunteers Needed
Help us share the gospel and some fun at Flushing’s Candlewalk this year! We’re bringing a live nativity scene to the heart of downtown Flushing, complete with animals for the community to interact with. We can use your help with set up, tear down, greeting, and acting as a nativity character.
Candlewalk is Thursday, December 4 and Friday, December 5 from 6-9pm. Please choose the shift(s) you are available for. Costumes are provided by the church. Contact Pastor Steve with questions.

Women’s Mingle & Jingle
Join us for crafts, carols, and a shower for the Pregnancy Resource Center of Flint at our Mingle & Jingle event on Saturday, December 6, from 12-2pm! Women of all ages are invited, so be sure to bring your daughters and friends. Sign up online now or in the foyer at the Events Table.
There is no cost to attend, but you’re encouraged to stop by the Angel Tree in the foyer, take the tag of an item or two to donate to the Pregnancy Resource Center, and bring the items to the party. You are still welcome to participate in the Angel Tree, even if you can’t attend the event.
